my Story
I was born in Forest Gate, London, in 1983 and moved to New Zealand with my family in 1986. My father was a skilled joiner and cabinetmaker who completed his apprenticeship through Fletcher Construction in Wellington.
He had a passion for traditional villas built between the 1880s and early 1900s and renovated numerous houses, including our family homes in London and New Zealand. Growing up around renovations gave me an early appreciation for older homes, traditional workmanship, and the satisfaction of restoring and improving a property.
Influenced by my father’s joinery background and my own experience around building and renovation work, I naturally gravitated towards carpentry and joinery. Today, I combine elements of both trades, with a particular interest in renovations, repairs, restoration, custom joinery, and detailed finishing work.
