Larsen Andersen is the owner of L A Carpentry Services and a qualified carpenter based in Blenheim.
He holds New Zealand carpentry qualifications at Levels 3 and 4 and has more than 20 years of hands-on experience across carpentry, joinery, renovations, repairs, and property maintenance.Larsen was born in London, England in 1983 and moved to New Zealand with his family in 1986. His father was a skilled joiner and cabinetmaker by trade who completed his apprenticeship with Fletcher Construction in Wellington.His father had a passion for traditional villas built between the late 1800s and early 1900s and renovated numerous houses, including the family homes in London and New Zealand. Growing up around renovations gave Larsen an early appreciation for older homes, traditional workmanship, and the satisfaction of restoring and improving a property.Influenced by his father’s joinery background and his own experience around building and renovation work, Larsen naturally gravitated towards carpentry and joinery. Today, he combines elements of both trades, with a particular interest in renovations, repairs, restoration, custom joinery, and detailed finishing work.
